I am brand new to the idea of Juice Feasting and plan to do a modified Juice Feast starting on 1 March. I am immensely grateful for such a grand opportunity to do this along with a whole group of wonderful, enthusiastic people. Whoohoo!
I'm 38, almost 39, a single mommy of the brightest 11-year old you can imagine, and so shy that I won't put up a photo right now. :) Hey, give me time till the juice glows from within...!

What kind of life shifts/transformations are you looking to have with Juice Feasting?
I am confident that Juice Feasting will bring me closer to my core and will also be very instrumental in sorting out my low thyroid and energy challenges. As I am currently still healing from a relationship breakup, I am curious to see how this journey will assist me in sorting through emotions. I expect not only a physical detox, but an emotional one as well. If I release some weight, I'd be pleased as punch, but most of all for me it is about energy, health, clarity and finding the real me.
I want to become light enough to stretch my fairy wings and fly!

Facing emotions can be scary, yes. I think this past year has been the most difficult and the most discovering of my entire life. EFT and The Journey and talking to God are the three prime things which really help me face my emotions. I know from your blog that you very enthusiastic about life and very self-aware, Hanlie. :) You will get to healing your emotions when the time is right. I know that!
AJ, you must miss your family a lot. And you said the one magic thing I am learning so much about right now: being His beautiful BRIDE. I am beginning to think our lives will keep on creating situations in which we get pulled back to God until we grasp this one concept: that He loves us to bits!
It is reeeeaaaaaaallllly so wonderful to have friends like you girls for this journey. I am blessed, blessed, blessed!
I have family in Pretoria & Alberton. My sister lives in Lydenburg, my brother in Howick, and my mom in Durban...and yes, Chicago is a long way away...especially in the winter!
I don't know if the JF will bring clarity and peace, but I do know that Jesus loves you to bits and that there is nothing more important to Him than to hold you close, and pour out His love on you! You are His bride, and even when you feel broken, He says that you are beautiful!

My favourite Francine Rivers book is Redeeming Love. I always cry buckets when I read that, and I must have read it about 5 times. And The Unbearable Lightness of Being is another favourite of mine. I see we're also close in age.
I'm sorry you're going through a difficult time emotionally. Juice Feasting will certainly bring clarity and peace. I think in a lot of ways I feel stuck right now because I'm too scared to go inside and face the emotions. But I'm getting braver and stronger...
Hi AJ, wow, Chicago is far from Durban! Centurion is the southernmost point of Pretoria/Tshwane, right next to Midrand. We have Joburg weather and Pretoria inhabitants.
I just finished Atonement Child by Francine Rivers ~ really thought-provoking. Together with Joyce Meyer those two ladies inspire me so much.
Hey, lots of good luck to you too! Us timid newbies really have a great network to embrace us. This is going to be WONDERFUL. Blessings to you too. :)
Hanlie, I SOOOOO hope you feel better soon. Getting the flu when eating so naturally must be very disconcerting. You must really be shifting some BIG stuff. Sending you some positive energy from up here. :)
Hi Pippa!
I'm a total Francine Rivers fan!
Her books are so life-changing to me!
I'm also brand new and insecure in this endeavor, and praying my favorite prayer: "Oh help me, God!"
I'm a Durbanite, currently living in Chicago!
Where is Centurion?
Blessings on the beginning of your "new thing"

That is so exciting! I'm loving my Juice Feast, even though I'm so sick right now.. I'm going to spend some time on your blog now... We seem to have the same interests - we certainly like the same movies!
