Penni thank-you so much,it did help, i checked out the Omega juicers on their web-site and there is a site juicer comparison.com and that helped as well !

Hi Vicki, I just read your question regarding what juicer....I have an Omega juicer, which is very similar to the Green Star, except it's a hundred or so less expensive. I did not get the centrifugal model. I think it is a marvelous juicer and I do everything in it. I haven't been using my Vita Mix at all, although I may try doing that at some point. I bought my Omega at Wild Oats.
