Hey, I'm Kat Bowie. I'm a Body-psychotherapist, Clinical Psychologist, holistic energy healer, and Reiki Master in 2 different traditions. I have been vegetarian on and off for many years and am now 100% raw vegan. I am really enjoying Juice Feasting. I became 100% raw vegan on January 1, 2008. I've had many changes this year and this is the next step in my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual transformation. I lost my husband, my heart-mate, best friend, this past year due to medical incompetence, error, and malpractice. My life is completely different than I ever imagined now. And, in taking exquisite tender care of myself, I am adding raw food, and juice feasting to my life. I am taking the time to fall in love with me.

I try to go whenever I can between my work and schooling, I don't make it to many events. I am a member on the meetup but it is so much easier to just have my mom tell me when she is having another pot luck or event. I started this past monday doing some things differently. I am juicing, eating salads, nuts, and those tonic/smoothies I got from my mom. I want to try strictly juicing but I am not in the financial position to do it. Seems like between switching from the SAD to juicing is also hard on my appetite. That is why I am doing the other stuff too. I look forward to meeting you!
Hey Lemoned, the cleansing milk is what I use and they recommend that you do not use a moisturizer at night as that is the time that your skin naturally replenishes and takes stock of what it needs to do to repair itself. If you go to their webiste you can decide what works best for your skin type. the cleansing cream I like if I have not used makeup, because it has an abrasive factor in it that cleanses the skin. If I wear makeup I use the cleansing milk because it takes off the mascara and eye makeup easier. and, no the wash has no foaming action to it. I have used their bath wash, but prefer Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap in the shower. I use the Lavender Bath mainly for aromatherapy purposes and to clean my skin. It can get really confusing even with the help of their website. I got a big consumers guide at Whole Foods, you might ask if they have one. It helped me decide what was best for my skin and what I really needed as the basics. Their website has the same information if you cannot find the guide at the store. I hope this helps and I hope you enjoy it. Everyone's skin is different, but I have to tell you, that I started using it even before I went 100% raw and it dramatically changed my skin. Enjoy and thanks for asking. In Light and Peace, Kat
So, I got that box of Hauschka stuff :) Can I ask you something again? It doesn't seem they have any "foaming" wash at all, so you only use the cleaning milk or cleaning creme to wash your face? It's kind of new to me because I am used to the foaming, soapy stuff.
I admit the cleansing creme doesn't leave my skin feel clean, in fact, it feels greasy when I wash off, so I rub my face with a towel. I don't even feel like using any moisturizer afterwards, like I don't need to.
But anyways, if I buy the bigger bottles, which one do you like better, the cleansing creme or the lotion/milk?
Hello! I have to ask you now about Dr. Hauscka! I was at Whole Foods today and checked ou the stuff. Wow, it *is* expensive, twice as much as Clinique..but I want to try it out. They had a $20 face kit in a metal box, is that the one you mentioned?
