OK, so the last juice feast had some good results for me. I did bounce around with it a bit since I was still trying to go 100% raw. It was also still pretty chilly outside and the fresh local produce was pretty limited. Ididn't care for cold juice on cold days. Now, we are in the warm months and drinking juice seems to be easier. I have been learning so much on this site and on my own as well. I feel more prepared to give it another go.
An update since I last wrote:

I am thrilled with the evolution of myself. I hope that sounds humble...LOL. I reflected on the progress my household has made and I am floored. This morning my kids work up and made OUR "breakfast" which consisted of a large glass of MSM/lemon water, a spirulina drink, and bee pollen. I sometimes toss in some probiotics, iodine, and any other supplement I have lying around. But just to think that my kids are conditioned to starting our day this way is astounding to me. Seeds just keep sprouting everywhere, not only in my garden but in my life! Tonight I attended my very first organic garden club. It was awesome! I tend to be cold and eating cool salads on a cold day isn't my favorite, but I am learning about warm foods that aren't overheated.
Over the weekend I enjoyed a treat at Juliano's in Santa M…

I am feeling VERY good. I am eating a very raw diet. I had too much produce that needed to be used up and I made a juice that was POWERFUL. I have to say I felt energized and cleansed afterwards. I just started throwing things in the juicer. The kickers were jalepeno, red onion and garlic. WHEW! I love it spicy! Of course I had a huge bunch of mustard greens, jicama, swiss chard, cilantro, as well as a few others. I felt full for hours. It is true that the juice squelches any afternoon cravings…

Followed you over from GAIA. Thanks. It seems the members at GlobalJuice are different than GAIA ... certainly with a different focus and purpose. Read your blogs here and really enjoyed your detailed commentary ... really quite amazing what you are doing ... an inspiration in a way. Anyway love reading your blog and lots to learn.
