Hi Maisey,
I used the Thai coconuts from the Asian markets. They are not organic. I'm not sure I've ever seen an organic coconut before. I've heard that the ones I used have been dipped in formaldehyde, which doesn't sound too happy, and yet, they worked wonders for me.
