Before the feast I made kale, prune and pear juice in my Green Star juicer and it was really really thick and veeeery filling! I think "juicing" prunes this way does pass fibre through making more of a smoothie.
It's hard to judge if juices are too thick :/ but I'm trying to be careful!
I have used the coarse screen. I rarely use it however. I use it in certain situations. Generally though, I will strain the juice after in a nut milk bag.
i used the coarse screen for OJ before the feast and didn't really like it so thick and pulpy! well...maybe if i was eating it with a spoon :P
i haven't used my nut milk bag at all on the feast! everything straight from the Green Star....i had to blend my GVJ yesterday though because the parsley made weird clumpy chunkies
I'm doing everything straight from the Green Star too, but I'm using the fine screen. Yeah OJ will pass through the fine screen with no problem at all.
