Feliz Dia de las Madres!
A little late, I know, but it's still technically Mother's Day. :)
Yesterday, I attended
WorldFest 2008 in Encino, CA. I helped to man the booth represented by
The Aetherius Society. Throughout the day, we administered
hands on healing treatments as well as performed each of
The Twelve Blessings on the half hour.
It was a phenomenal event and venue at Woodley Park. There were a lot of vegan and raw vegan booths, including
Leaf Cuisine,
Rawsheed, as well as Earth friendly, animal rights and eco booths. There was live music and some really smoking bands. I regret not mentioning it here because I’m sure that most of you in the LA area would have enjoyed it. The vibe was great. I also got a gallon of raw coconut oil for $20!
Today was a great day. I worked most of the day but attended a
Power Circle here at
The Aetherius Society Temple in Hollywood sending prayers to Myanmar. I had lunch with our Bishop elect after that was over at a vegan place, but they didn’t have fresh juice. It dawned on me afterwards that there is a vegan place near my house that does serve fresh juice, but the memory of that escaped me as we were deciding on a place. No problemo, I had tea. However, it would have been nice to have fresh juice!
Today I had:
3 quarts tomato/broccoli/celery/garlic
1.5 quarts carrot/spinach
I’m still at work, but when I get home, I’ll probably have mandarin orange juice.
