I tried the nut milk bags today, and had a frothy like smoothie! it was good! I am finding that if I hide some of the smaller greens- like parsley or cilantro in a wrapped up romaine leaf, in my Jack LaL. they go through.

- I've had UC (ulcerative colitis) for about 8 years now- tired of meds, symptoms, etc. I have read a lot in the last few months of books from different "raw" experiences- do this- don't do that- some confusing! But, I know what is right for my body- and that is a raw vegan lifestyle. I have been almost raw 96% since Jan 1. I have had a lot of detox so far, and am down 25lbs, but still have some detoxing to do as I still have symptoms of UC- but I am healing! :) I think that a juice feast will be beneficial for my bod. I may modify it a bit- with smoothies. Some vegetables juiced just don't wet my palate. I can drink greens better coming out of my vitamix rather than my JL juicer. ;')

I look forward to your blogs! You are doing so well on the feast- keep it up! Why do you think you need to do a water fast for a few days? I am on day 5, and having some weird stuff happening. maybe it's detox? not sure. I am still getting used to the green juice. Sometimes I have to have variety- not sure why, probably is tied to some eating disorder I have had in the past. Do you consult w/ a health practitioner at all?
