Ah! One more post - cause I just noticed you are in Dallas!
I'm just around the corner - in Grand Prairie.
If you are going to juice feast and/or stick with raw foods, it would be worth your while to check out the local organic produce coop we have available to us! I host a group in Grand Prairie - every other Tuesday. But there are also pickup points in Dallas.
Here's the link if you want to check it out:

Juice romaine and celery. Then try adding a bit of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice, and a touch of sea salt and pepper. If the flavor is too strong, try juicing a cucumber or some tomatoes to dilute it.
If you must have the sweet taste, Juice just one or two apples to add in.
It's very important to be careful with juice from carrots, beets, sweet potatoes, and fruits. Especially with your glucose level over 400.
Hi Debbie
My public blog for the juicing is www.back2thejuice.blogspot.com
Please read David's info about how to handle the juicing if you are diabetic! He worked with Dr. Gabriel Cousens at the Tree of Life rejuvenation center. Dr. Cousens put out a film - though I don't know the name of it - about the reversal of diabetes within 30 days.
I do know that for diabetics- the safe route is to stick with green juices - maybe sweetened just a bit with apple juiice. I'm sure there is more info somewhere here on the site - or on www.juicefeasting.com

Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
