hi Audry, keep putting up those relaxing videos, i like them. how do u like birmingham, i was just there twice in a couple of weeks i love that big alabama sign downtown
Audry -- those "cute" guys in my post are my partner Paddy, his son Cedar and then Paddy and mine's daughter Simi! And I will post the cracker recipes!
Hi Audry!
Thank you for sweet and supportive comments! I just saw your note today... I haven't been visiting this site as regularily as I was when I was juicefeasting.
Our weekly "juicelucks" were a wonderful way for me to stay motivated and feel encouraged to continue the juicefeast - I miss them, and socializing with my fabulous raw food friends of course! :)
We have all been busy with summertime activities in the last little while, but we are definitely planning on doing at least one more follow up video and also to continue meeting weekly for raw potlucks - when things slow up a bit.
Peace and joy to you Audry! Bye for now.
aililiu is pronounced AH-leh-loo. :) lee-loo for short. im in the middle of a name transition ;)
mm, i found that so helpful, not to aim for the full 92. at first i was doing it day by day... i was only originally planning on doing it a day or two! once i was well into it and loving it and more dedicated, i felt comfortable with setting goals like hitting the 60 day mark and later the 92. my other victoria juice feasters went longer but 92 was a good stopping point for me :)
hahah, true, i guess ill never be aiming for a PERFECT diet, but as youve probably picked up from the videos i was/am struggling with over eating. it is soo much better post-feast but theres a bit left to work on... the feast, though, gave me the evironment i needed to see OTHER ways to help myself... what a blessing :)
you know, i thought about doing the whole blog thing, but im an avid journal-er--- &i love the feeling of paper &pen. and i just cannot bring myself to write things down twice! hahah. maybe one day. maybe next feast! :) bless.
Yes, from the juiceluck videos, I feel like I know you, too!
How do you pronouce aililu?
Its really helped me to look at this whole process as small chunks of time...14 days, 21 days, 30 days, 42 days, etc. That makes it seem a lot less overwhelming to me. It seems like you did it that way, too. I have to say, it feels really nice to take a break from eating food. I feel like its giving me more time to focus on other things and I also feel really good about myself for doing it. Like I am stretching the limits of my potential...I could definitely see myself doing something like this more than once. As for having a "perfect" relationship with food, I don't know about you, but I have yet to meet someone who does. Who needs perfection anyway? Its boring!
yes you did! or you can call me aililiu.
thats fantastic that you feel youre making progress :)
im actually looking forward to my next feast...
i really should just start feasting once a week, or something along those lines.
my transition has gone pretty well, actually. im still working through some deep lying emotional issues that affect my eating, so in that case i suppose my diet isnt as perfect as id wish it. however, ive had no trouble with anything else, and the feast helped me so much... &i know next time ill get to an evn BETTER place!
bless,
liliu
thank you! that means a lot to have you say that :) it was an incredible journey and i hope to do more in the future! are you doing one? blessings to you on your own transformation!
thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate them. i'm going to go check out your blog right now! (I'm still blogging as I re-enter the realm of food!) -- Cheers!
p.s. the first time i used a tonne of supplements....but in future would keep it MUCH simpler....the last mini feast i didn't use any enemas either (after completely putting out my 'fire' the first time)...daily psyllium worked a treat tho x
The juicer I have juices carrots and celery and the like pretty well but does not do so good with leafy greens and wheatgrass. Is there one juicer that does well with both? Or do I need one good juicer for carrots, celery and such
and another for wh…
I just started my first juice feast 14 days ago with the goal of 92 days. This is sooo hard. I have considered a modified version but Im not giving up yet. My weight has been dropping a little fast. I didn't have much to work with in the first place…
Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
