Home of the Global Juice Feast in 2008!

Welcome Arizonans to the Global Juice Feast! David and Katrina are conducting this year's GJF from Patagonia where David worked as Dr. Gabriel Cousens' Research Assistant, and Katrina worked in the Dispensary.

The community of people in Arizona eating/investigating a plant-based diet and natural healing is huge, and we intend to help everyone in this beautiful state access Juice Feasting to support their shift into a healthier life, no matter where they are on the dietary spectrum.

Can prickly pear pads be juiced? If so, how much to too much....I know the oxalic acid in them can be poisonous in high amounts . Bags of chopped pads are sold pretty cheaply

I have type 2 diabetes, so I can't have the fruit. :(

I'll fer sure check out the greens tho.

If you know someplace that has a GONGA deal on celery and cucumber....let me know! lol

I would really LOVE to do this for 60 days - symbolically represents the amount of healing needed to undo the past 15 years of diabetes. But not even sure if I can keep doing it for more than a couple weeks. It's shocking how expensive organic or even regular produce is.

But I guess even a little is better than nothing.

Hi Bjay, the Food Conspiracy Coop on 4th St has pretty good prices for fruit, white grapefruit at 99 cent a pound is a staple for me... greens, on the other hand, all seem to be about the same price everywhere (organics) if anyone else knows of something better, I'd love to know as well.

Hello. I'm in Tucson, Arizona. Any advice on where to find good produce here for a good price?
